Job Title:               Mechanical assembly

Reports To:           Assembly Supervisor



The Assembler supports the company by conducting oneself as a team player while maximizing the quality and productivity standards related to the position. 


  • Responsible to plan and execute in an efficient and productive manner, routine duties requiring varied procedures and fairly detailed instructions.
  • Responsible for the building of moderately complex assemblies consisting of motors, pumps, valves, electronics, pipes, hoses, and mechanical fasteners.  Assemblies include but are not limited to fabricated stainless steel parts, purchased components, plastic, brass, copper and PVC pipe and fittings.
  • Transfers material to proper area.  Loads and unloads materials onto or from material handling buggy, pallets, racks and shelves.
  • Is responsible for inventory management and control in work area.
  • The incumbent interfaces with appropriate related company personnel to insure effective communications and the building of a quality product.
  • Coordinates and keeps abreast of new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned in various other departments.



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Requires at least 1-2 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understands and applies safety procedures.
  • Pass background check and drug test.


  • Stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
  • Occasionally lift 20 to 50 lbs., frequently lift 10 to 25 lbs.


Use of standard hand tools – screwdrivers, wrenches, tape measure, wire snipers, wire strippers, air tools, drills etc.

Pay: $14.00 to $17.00 an hour depending on skill level.

  • Temp to hire position. 40 hour work week.
  • Work hours are 6am- 2:30pm M-F+S (Saturday if needed / paid overtime)
